When the reigning champions accepted, the Gunns promised the fans a major surprise for King of the Ring. Will they apologize for their actions or what ?!? Bam Bam Bigelow was on the receiving-end of a Ted DiBiase chairshot en route to losing to his former manager's latest aquisition, the "Lone Wolf" Barry Windham. The Rock'n'Roll Express has been in the WWF for maybe three months. And wouldn't you know it, they're already going at it with Jim Cornette's boys again. Talk about people who don't like each other... Although Lex Luger did submit in Owen Hart's version of the Sharpshooter, one has to keep in mind that he was in the ring for the better part of sixty minutes and managed to pin both reigning champion Vader and the King of Harts clean in the middle of the ring. As we go to press, it has been announced that Lex Luger will be getting his shot at the WWF title at the King of the Ring. Chris Benoit certainly has had it with Dean Malenko. After Malenko got himself disqualified, Benoit challenged him to a old-style Texas Death match at the King of the Ring, so he can get rid of him once and for all.
