Match observations: The Moonsault Marauders seemingly ran out of luck - at least partially. They had their shot at having all three titles at once ruined when the 1-2-3 Kid was pinned by Hiroshi Hase and lost the IC title. James E. Cornette and J.J. Dillon as we just learned are NOT getting along lately. First Bobby Eaton accidentally causes Arn Anderson to be pinned by Hiroyoshi Tenzan and then Yokozuna totally annihilates Sting. Could there be a war with Cornette's Army and the Horsemen forthcoming ? Stay tuned. Waylon Mercy has vowed to go through all the Horsemen one by one. Thus far, he's beaten Arn Anderson and Paul Roma, so he might be a good addition to Cornette's troupe should they go to war with the Horsemen. "Sad But True" Dept.: the Steiner Brothers may no longer team up in the WWF. This is the result of the tag title match at WrestleMania, which the Steiners lost shockingly cleanly. Instead of staying along and wrestling singles in the WWF, they have decided to pull out of the WWF and work Japan exclusively. The New Generation keeps changing and changing... Steve Williams did rise some eyebrows by his stellar performance as a last- minute substitute for Genichiro Tenryu against Diesel, including that of his opponent. Diesel lost, but he did so in a very classy manner by shaking Dr. Death's hand after the match. Finally, after all these years of trying and trying Shawn Michaels fulfilled his life-long dream of becoming the undisputed WWF World Champion. He did hold the title for a few days back in 1995, but that seems to be ancient history now. He shouldn't rest on his laurels, however, as Razor Ramon is ready, willing and very, very able to give Michaels a run for the gold tomorrow night.
