Match observations:
Is Razor hot or what ? First, Dean Malenko injures his knee to the point Razor
has to take almost eight months off, then he disappears without Razor ever
getting a chance to take revenge, and now this. Rest assured Malenko's time in
the WWF won't be pretty for him.
The Rock'n'Roll Express was f...ed once again. Even having Kwang and Hakushi's
managers banned from ringside didn't help their case, as Kwang's mist spelled
defeat for the veteran team.
After all these months of treachery, Cornette's Midnight Express finally lost
the WWF tag team titles - and it couldn't have been to a more deserving team.
Last month it was announced that this title shot would be Sting's last one. This
stipulation will be enforced, even though he was never closer to beating Hansen
than on this occasion. However, the wily Texas benefitted from the rule that
lets a champion keep his title in the case of a time-limit draw.
Don't count Sting out - he still has one trick up his sleeve. Should he win
June's King of the Ring tournament, he'll be entitled by the WWF rules to one
more shot at the champ.
In the meantime, Hansen will have to put up with Lex Luger.
