Match observations:
Screwjobs galore.
The everlasting Kid - Hakushi saga took another turn last week. Through his
manager Shinja Hakushi announced he'd be recruiting a tag team partner on the
impending Japanese tour. That, of course, requires the 1-2-3 Kid to choose a tag
team partner himself. Maybe we're in for a surprise, however I wouldn't be
surprised if his partner turned out to be none other than Marty Jannetty.
Jeff Jarrett contends he would have won the IC title, had it not been for the
stupid time limit, as he had champion Dan Severn in his patented figure-four
leglock just as time ran out. He has demanded a rematch, and he wants it as soon
as the WWF returns from Japan.
Speaking of Japan, the WWF will have two dates on its own. Then the tour is to
culminate in a multi-promotion show in the Tokyo Dome. However it has been said
that WWF head honcho Vince McMahon will not have his wrestlers in the same ring
with those from WCW - or as he calls it: bush league.
Is the Hart Foundation falling into a slump ? Not only were they defeated by the
Road Warriors - and quite decisively at that - but also by the Jurassic Powers,
whom they've never been in the ring against before.
Might it be that Too Cold Scorpio and Marcus Bagwell have the Warriors' number ?
Please keep in mind that they almost had the match won last time around. Then
they lost because the referee was knocked out. This time Ted DiBiase had to save
the Roadies' butts for them because they would have lost their straps.
Due to his victory over Stan Hansen, Diesel has made it perfectly clear that
he's back - for good.
Razor's temper seemingly got carried away with him as he was disqualified for
shoving Jim Cornette's tennis racket down Yokozuna's throat.
See you in 7.
