Match observations: 

Hiroshi Hase and Kensuke Sasaki made their triumphant return to the WWF tonight,
and the Great Muta shouldn't be far behind if we are to believe the rumors that
are running rampant.

The Horsemen are sending shockwave after shockwave through the wrestling world.
First the 1-2-3 Kid defeated former WWF champion Shawn Michaels cleanly in the
center of the ring, and now they did something no one has an explanation for:
they kicked Brian Pillman out of the Horsemen ! When Pillman fought Diamond
Dallas Page and Page had the upper hand, Flair and Anderson came to
ringside. Everyone expected them to kick the living hell out of DDP, but they
did the exact opposite. Arn Anderson broke a pin attempt by Pillman on DDP and
caused the distracted Pillman to lose to WWF-returnee DDP.

In an interview later in the show, the Horsemen finally explained their motives.
Flair told the stunned Jim Ross he had known all along that Pillman was merely
a spy for Steve Austin and that he tried to infiltrate the Horsemen from within.
Flair and Anderson swore they'd take apart Pillman and brought out the newest
member of the Horsemen - who wouldn't have guessed it - Diamond Dallas Page.

The King of the Ring tournament itself brought us some great matches, most
notably Chris Benoit's stellar performance against the Undertaker. While Benoit
lost in the end, he gave 'Taker a run for his money that he won't forget anytime
soon. As we all know, Undertaker went on to capture this year's crown.

Cactus Jack and Sabu put on a memorable match against the Eliminators, but as
luck would have it, the champs retained their titles. In any case, we will be
seeing a lot more of those two teams duking it out in months to come.

Toshiaki Kawada defeated Eddy Guerrero in another top-notch bout, a two-out-of-
three falls match. A return match has already been signed for the next In Your
House, where the two will meet in a 60-minute Iron Man Match.

The Owen Hart - Dean Malenko feud is turning into a real sleeper. While they
started slow, their matches are getting better every time they meet. Thus far,
neither has been able to keep their title against the other, however In Your
House may prove to be the exception to the rule.

Was Brian Pillman really a spy on a quest to destroy the Horsemen ? We will
probably never know. In any case, he evened the score with his former mates by
costing Ric Flair his match against Steve Austin. Was this just a case of
retaliation or does it go to prove Flair and Anderson were right ?

Bret Hart proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that he still is among the very top
in the WWF after being in a tag team situation for more than a year. He took
Vader to the very limit, and only outside interference from the notorious Jim
Cornette saved Vader's title reign... or maybe Vader *would* have kicked out of
Bret Hart's pinning combination. Maybe is the key word...
