The fans in attendance were absolutely IN SHOCK when Jim Cornette turned on Owen Hart, his longtime protege, enabling Justin Bradshaw to win the WWF Intercontinental Title on his second show in. Owen Hart swore he'll be getting back at Cornette, although he didn't reveal how. The Eliminators beat up Rick Steiner backstage, which led to him no-showing the Steiners' title defense against Kronus and Saturn. Rocko Rock from the Public Enemy offered the younger Steiner his assistance in return for a title shot on a later card. Steiner accepted, and the two really kicked some serious butt. The Eliminators seemed totally off seeing Rocko Rock tag up with Scott Steiner as if the two had been teaming forever. Kronus and Saturn got their composure back together towards the end of the match and almost put away Steiner with the Total Elimination, however Rocko made the save in time, and Steiner put Saturn away with the Frankensteiner and a handful of tights. Steve Austin certainly turned some heads when he did what neither Vader, nor Ric Flair or the Undertaker were able to do despite several attempts each: he pinned WWF World Champion Eddy Guerrero, and he did it clean in the middle of the ring to boot ! Guerrero got some revenge when he made Austin submit to a scorpion deathlock later on, but the psychological damage probably was done. Guerrero is only a few weeks away from his biggest and most dangerous challenge to date and goes into the match having lost to a newcomer to the WWF. The odds do NOT look good.
