(Steve Austin retained the WWF World Title) Match observations: In a major shock, Scott Steiner is gone from the WWF. His place in the Survivor Series will have to be taken by someone else, that's for sure. The person it won't be is Hollywood Hogan who made his return to the WWF tonight by costing Shawn Michaels his match against The Giant. Like anyone waited for him to return anyway... Brian Pillman demonstrated a lot of intestinal fortitude by lasting over thirty seconds in Bret Hart's Sharpshooter before finally submitting. Pillman will go a long way --- if he disassociates himself from Steve Austin, that is. If Chris Benoit made one thing perfectly clear, it's that he wants no part whatsoever of the Four Horsemen. He came to the ring with Flair and Arn but never laid a hand on Vader while they distracted the referee. The Horsemen are fuming, and having them as your enemies isn't a good idea, so Benoit better look for some friends before he's taken care of.
