Match observations: 

HE DID IT ! HE DID IT ! HE DID IT ! No one would have believed it possible, but
Eddy Guerrero showed the world why he is indeed the rightful WWF World Champion.He had Vader pinned clean after giving him the Swinging DDT out of the corner,
but Jim Cornette took it upon himself to tip the scale back in Vader's
direction. Boy, did he fail. Cornette's tennis racket did what the DDT failed to
do: knock Vader cold for good. He wasn't moving an inch when the referee counted
his shoulders down.

Finally, Eddy Guerrero can move on to new challenges in the form of Steve Austin
and a host of others.

Owen Hart must have also felt a nice dose of redemption when he made Justin
Bradshaw yell "uncle" in the first match of this Survivor Series. Bradshaw did
wreak havoc after being eliminated, though, lariating everyone in sight.

Ahmed Johnson also made quite a mark... on the backs on Dean Malenko and Arn
Anderson, that is. Johnson really went wild, pinning Malenko and Arn within a
matter of seconds with the Pearl River Plunge. He also tried to do it to Flair,
but the wily veteran gave Johnson a low blow for his trouble. Flair went on to
win the Survivor Series for his team.
