(Ric Flair retained the WWF World Title) Match observations: So Ric Flair did make good of the promise he gave Sting when he joined the Four Horsemen - a title shot. Flair won fair and square and everyone seemed happy with this, even Sting himself. Maybe the addition of Paul Roma to the Horsemen wasn't really a good one after all, since he always seems to be the one designated jobber in the Four Horsemen. Either that or he's always at the wrong place at the wrong time... Diesel is getting his in-ring career back on track after a lengthy slump. He's proven beyond a doubt that he's back by pinning dangerous former WWF champion Toshiaki Kawada cleanly with the Jackknife. Today's card saw the crowning of new tag team champions in Chris Benoit and Al Snow of the Moonsault Marauders. Now, if only Razor could defeat Ric Flair for the WWF title, all the titles would be with that group... after all, Flair never beat him. Speaking of Razor, everyone's dream match of him against former team mate Shawn Michaels was something to behold. It's really unfortunate that there was a time limit in that match, however. In a stunning move, WWF President Jack Tunney announced that since there is sort of a major tie for top contendership for the WWF title, he scheduled a six-man tag match for the next In Your House. The winner of the fall - regardless who it is - gets the title shot at WrestleMania. The match pits Shawn Michaels, Diesel and of all people the Great Muta against The match pits Shawn Michaels, Diesel and of all people the Great Muta against and Intercontinental Champion the 1-2-3 Kid. Also scheduled for In Your House is a Iron Man Match for the tag team titles between new champions Snow and Benoit and the former champions the Steiner Brothers, while Ric Flair will have to fend off the challenge of Waylon Mercy.
