Match observations: 

This show was one for the ages. 

From a great impromptu six-man tag which saw the US contingent of Ken Shamrock,
Rob Van Dam and Dean Malenko put aside their differences to defeat the superb
team of Hayabusa, Shinjiro Otani and Kendo Ka Shin in a true classic to the
announcement of the King of the Ring tournament - I'm truly speechless.

Chris Benoit defeated Al Snow in a questionable decision as Snow had Benoit
beat with the Snow Plow with no referee being present. It has since been
announced that the two will be rematched in the King of the Ring main event.

Shawn Michaels seems to be intent on getting his career back on track. Tonight's
convincing victory over Hollywood Hogan was only the first step back into title
contention.

Vader's injury seemingly hasn't yet healed 100 percent after all given the way
in which he lost to the Undertaker. Maybe it was too much too soon.

Bret Hart and Val Venis managed to defeat the Dudleys tonight, and in 
convincing fashion. However, due to Buh Buh Ray Dudley's injury, his "brother"
Big Dick had to stand in. The two teams will be rematched at the King of the
Ring, albeit with Buh Buh back in the fold.

Two more weeks to go until MSG, and history's in the making !
